Academic Awards

How to apply

Research grants are available to University faculty at a Canadian university. Awards are granted based on your proposal. The awards are intended for untenured faculty.

Required proposal

The proposal should include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Demonstrated knowledge of, and commitment to, Canadian capital markets.
• Brief description of professional experience.
• Current areas of interest and research if different than this research.
• Biographical information – education, contact information.
• Other information or commitments you feel the selection committee should be aware of.

Research specific:

• Purpose/proposed outcomes
• Specific objectives/aims of research
• Milestones and expected timeline as well as suggested scope and content of 6 month report
• Research methodology
• Knowledge transfer
• Who will benefit

Proposal deadline

There will be no Academic Awards for 2011-2012.
